I say broke into but really, the car was unlocked. I haven’t had a problem since I lived in this house. It was stupid; the feeling of violation over less than $5.00 in change and a CD holder 1/2 full of CD’s copies (I got smart after I had several $1000.00 of CD’s stolen from my car when I […] Read more…
handwritten “executive income” signs…
I’ve noticed a lot of really cheesy handwritten signs along the side of the road claiming that you can work from anywhere for “executive level income” and giving a cell number. Please! If you’re really getting executive level income at whatever it is you’re doing, you can afford to get better signs instead of using […] Read more…
I did it!
I finished my first 5k. I jogged the WHOLE thing, start to finish. I went at such a leisurely pace that I had plenty to kick it up a few notches to cross the finish line. So leisurely, that I had people walking who had better times than me. My time was 42:04 which averaged […] Read more…

I dropped the bomb tonight…
Today I called my dad to tell him I wasn’t going to his wedding. It wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done, but it feels like an incredible weight off of my shoulders–I’ve been dreading this day for years. I know he wasn’t happy–he didn’t say “I love you” when he got off the phone. […] Read more…
My only work related post–I hope.
What is it about e-mail that makes people completely illiterate? I got 2 emails that were a full paragraph each; 3 lines and about 4 sentences but no puncuation ANYWHERE. There are period (.) and comma (,) keys on the keyboard for a reason! USE THEM!!! I’m getting off of my soapbox now. Thank you for listening. Read more…
Indonesia Trip – Day 2
On our second day in Indonesia, we stayed in Jakarta. Tony had secured us a private driver for the day to take us wherever we wanted to go. I think it was only about 540,000Rup, but we gave him 600,000Rup (about $60). The first thing we did was go to Taman Mini. I LOVED Taman […] Read more…
