Today’s simplify everything task COULD take longer than 10 minutes but it doesn’t have to.

simplify 12 curriculum

Today’s task is to purge your curriculum.  Like all assignments this month, this could work no matter how your children are educated.  Keep reading :).

Over the course of homeschooling, you kind of learn what types of things that work for your family.  There are things that my children would love that I, as their teacher, just can’t do.  I just don’t function that way!

If you have time, go through it with a fine-tooth comb, if not, just do a quick scan of your curriculum/mommy book shelves.   Put anything you won’t use in a box to take to your next homeschool mommy gathering/co-op.  Price it or offer for free.  Your call.

If your kids go to public school, do you have workbooks for summer bridge or extra practice?   Or maybe something you bought because you thought it would be a fun family project for (fill in the blank), but no one can stand it?   Go through those things and purge the ones you will never use.
