In this space between Thanksgiving and Advent, my heart has been drawn to gratitude for all the wonderful blessings I’ve been given.   For some reason, I am finding extreme joy in my children these days.   More so than ever before.   And I’m eternally grateful for these beautiful little girls who are so curious and smarter than I give them credit for.

The Life to the Full Collection is now 50% off!

Sunday morning breakfasts are my favorite.  My oldest daughter has noticed that I use the same plate for pancakes and waffles every Sunday and it has words on it.   She asked me what it said on it.

I have come that they might have Life, and have it to the full.  John 10:10 NIV

It spawned a lovely discussion not only on God & the bible, but on other languages, too.  I love having around visible reminders that God is in our lives daily and present.  From the family altar to pictures & statues of Jesus and Mary and even artwork & dishes with bible passages on them, seeing God & His Word all over my house helps keep him in my thoughts.

If you haven’t heard of them yet, Dayspring is a company whose products are created so that Christ can be known through the printed message.   Originally they sold greeting cards, but they have expanded to tableware, home decor and even jewelry.   Last Christmas, I purchased several items for myself and to give as gifts from the Life Collection (see above).  I bought a large platter, the blue rimmed dinner plate (which is HUGE) and the pitcher.   I may have gotten a great deal on them, but they would totally be worth every penny full price.  The quality is superb.

I was thrilled when I went to Allume and discovered that I could occasionally review their items.  This month, they sent several items from their Love Came Down collection —  Table Runner, Trio Tea Lights Set, Wonders of His Love Ornament and an Advent Calendar.   The votive candle holders are lovely and I may just keep the table runner out year round.  It’s reversible and is red on one side and gold on the other.

Because Love. Came. Down.   No matter how many times I fall, he decided to come down to Earth as a little baby on Christmas Day.   He died on the cross because he LOVES us.    He Is love and shows me how to love my husband.   And my beautiful little girls came down because of His love.   And in June, another little child will make real (again) the miracle of His love.   And that’s really sometime to celebrate isn’t it?

God Bless you this Holiday Season!
