Last month, Tommy Nelson sent me another cute board(ish) book with the bear family from I Love You All the Same (link is to my review) — I Love You Even When. This beautifully illustrated book showcases how parents love their children even when they are naughty.
The story itself is told in rhyming verse and follows panda, brown & polar through various escapades. Even mama makes a mistake and at the end we are reminded that God loves us all, no matter what we do.
I love this book because it feels like I am correcting more than loving these days. It’s a good reminder to my kids that I love them AND a good reminder to me to be more gentle and living in my correction. Good things all around :).
