Last month, Tommy Nelson sent me another cute board(ish) book with the bear family from I Love You All the Same (link is to my review) — I Love You Even When.  This beautifully illustrated book showcases how parents love their children even when they are naughty.

I Love You Even When Giveaway - Ends 8-15-15

The story itself is told in rhyming verse and follows panda, brown & polar through various escapades.  Even mama makes a mistake and at the end we are reminded that God loves us all, no matter what we do.

I love this book because it feels like I am correcting more than loving these days.  It’s a good reminder to my kids that I love them AND a good reminder to me to be more gentle and living in my correction.  Good things all around :).

Thanks for the kind comments about my book! I’m so glad you like it and are promoting it! It was such fun to write and a great reminder to me as a grandma to show unconditonal love to our five grandchildren. They are a blessing, but they sure can test us too! God bless you and your family! Donna Keith

We have a 3.5yr old and a 13mo old. We have always encouraged hugs and kisses, and being gentle. We also teach apologizing even for accidents, and always being nice!

We try to encourage our kids to be friends with the baby before he/she is born. We share pictures with the older children of the baby growing in mommy’s belly.

We teach our kids to apologize and find something positive to say about each other.
