I’m so excited to have been chosen as a co-host for the Poppins Book Nook for the 2014-2015 year!
What IS The Poppins Book Nook?
The Poppins Book Nook is a themed children’s book club. Rather than picking specific books, it’s themed so everyone can fit the ages and preferences of their families. The idea is to work on the theme without a ton of planning–just like Mary Poppins pulls things out of her carpetbag.
At the beginning of each month, Jill @ Enchanted Homeschooling Mom will provide followers of the Poppins Book Nook with a free printable pack related to the month’s theme. You can download the intro files here as well as the March Book Nook packet at Enchanted Homeschooling Mom.
When Is It?
On the last Monday of each month, we will all be posting about the theme with our chosen books, activities and whatever else we pull from our Mary Poppins bag of tricks. In addition, there will be a book giveaway at the end of each month, so you will want to stay tuned!

Poppins Book Nook Focus @ HLH
My focus for the Poppins Book Nook will be birth – early elementary. I specialize in low to no-prep. You could call it lazy but I prefer to call it efficient! I will probably do mostly printable items and reading, without a ton of big, messy projects–those make me nuts! And there will be practical, hands-on work, too.
