Somehow it seems wrong to have a whole country full of people partaking in gluttony in celebration of the birth of Christ. I couldn’t even resist (nor did I try, to tell the truth). I was right back where I started on Tuesday after 4 straight days of sitting & eating – 159.
But, on the whole, the holidays were very enjoyable. I spent more time with my grandparents than I did both of my parents combined & had a great time with my husband’s family. We realized that it’s been several years since we were at HIS grandparents on Christmas Day when we realized there were about 4 little kids who were either newborns or not-borns last time we were there. Man, does time fly!
