I’ve made 4 or 5 Disney themed cakes at this point. The best way to make a birthday cake Disney themed is to buy one of these sets of figures from the Disney Store:
These little figurines rock because they allow you to frost the cake very simply AND they have a set of toys to play with after their birthday. And they are available for MANY Disney movies.
I don’t know about your kids but these are the most played with things in our house besides dress-up & kitchen stuff.
If you aren’t Disney people, you might be able to find cake topper sized toys in whatever your child is loving at the moment, too.
