I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it 100 times. You cannot lose weight in Michigan for at least 6 months of the year. I’m dead serious. I have been drinking pop & eating chocolate, not cooking any differently. BUT it’s been warmer and I can go for walks, go out to play with the girls, etc. I have been eating lots of fruit but I don’t think that alone will do it. Hurray for spring!!!

It’s so much quicker to leave with the littles when you don’t have to bundle them in 12 layers to run to the van too!

4 May 2011 at 9:55 AM (13 years ago)I can’t even imagine a Michigan winter. I live in Colorado where we get a lot of snow, but we also get sunshine 300+ days a year. That sun and it not always being bone-chilling cold here make it much easier to get outside and be active year-round. Well now that you are thawing out enjoy those times getting outside and moving around.
