I’m so excited to share my first selection as a Chicken Soup for the Soul blogger! For those who aren’t familiar with Chicken Soup for the Soul books, they contain short stories designed up lift and inspire. They have printed over 200 titles for almost every group imaginable.

Today, I’d like to giveaway a copy of their newest Chicken Soup for the Soul book Inspiration for Young at Heart: 101 Stories of Inspiration, Humor, and Wisdom about Life at a Certain Age.

From the publisher:

Life begins again at 60! Crossing that magic age might bring a few new wrinkles but also new experiences. This collection is full of humorous and fun adventures from those who are actively enjoying their “senior years!” Stories about new careers, volunteer work, sports and sport cars, love, family, and travels will amuse and invigorate readers.

I read a handful of stories in this book and even though they are about older adults, they really do share wisdom & appeal to many age groups.

Would you or someone you know enjoy this book? You can enter to win a copy! Simply leave me a comment telling me about someone in their senior years who is inspiring you to love life.
For extra entries, you can:

This is open to US shipping addresses only and ends at 11:59pm on 10/15/11. Winner will be notified via email and has 48 hours to respond before a new winner is chosen.

Good luck!

My 84 y/o uncle gets out and walks about 5-6 miles most every day. He lives in Minneapolis and doesn’t let winter slow him down. He shovels snow with the youngsters. In the summer he goes hiking and fishing. Sounds great to me. His sister is 94. My mom was (also his sister) was 88 when she passed away. And there’s another brother in there, too. Everyone’s mental faculties are in tact as well. That’s great to me. I’m just a babe next to them at a mere 62.
