No longer the happy little homemaker (to be), I have officially been a homemaker for about a month now. I absolutely love it, though I thought I would get more done in a day than I do :). I don’t know how I would have survived the last month if I were still working! NOTHING would have gotten done.
Anyway, the point of this post has been a burning gratitude since yesterday. My baby shower was held yesterday and out of the 60+ people we invited, around 25-30 made it. It was great to see everyone and I was completely blown away by the generosity of the people who came and/or sent gifts. We have gotten so much stuff for the baby and all of it was wonderful stuff. I know there are some VERY savvy shoppers in the group but I am positive that the monetary outlay by our friends and family was WAY more than our wedding was. It seriously blew me away; there were a few bags that seemed to be never-ending — like Mary Poppins… I just kept pulling stuff out!
Anyway, in case my TY’s don’t adequately express my gratitude, I just want to let everyone know that I SO appreciate all your generous gifts — You’ve been wonderful to us beyond my wildest imagination.
