Trip 2 to Walgreens for the razor deal. This time, I investigated other deals I may not have considered.
Gilette Fusion Gamer Razor, on sale for $8.99 – $4/1Q – $6RR = $1.01MM!
2 Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom wipes, on sale 2/$5 – $3/2 IP (rightathome.com) – $2 EasySaver rebate = Free!
Windex wipes, on sale $2.50 each (2/$5) – $1.50/1 IP – $1 EasySaver rebate – MFG Mail in rebate (from Sunday insert) – $2.50 = $2.50MM!!
And I needed some tape to repair a coupon I cut wrong – $2.79.
In summary,
Regular price – $29.25
Sale price – $19.28
Minus coupons used – $8.50
Total OOP – $10.78
Minus RR earned – $6.00
Minus rebates – $5.50
Total trip cost – $1.28MM
Total savings – 100+%
I’m going to try to work out a deal to use my RR on some other stuff to earn more RR tomorrow. I’ll let you know how it works.
