2010: A Book of Grace Filled Days, by Alice Camille is a great resource for quick reflections on the readings for every day of the year.  It started with the beginning of the liturgical year (Advent), and continues on through the end of 2010.   It’s a very compact little book, about 4x4x1 that should easily fit in your purse or briefcase.

Each day includes a quote from the days readings followed by a reflection on the readings within your everyday life.    It also has the reading(s), psalm & gospel at the bottom so that you can read the readings in your bible if you don’t have another lectionary source.

I was going to review this in December so that you could buy it before 2010 started, but thought that I really needed to USE it, on a daily basis to get the full effect.  This really is a gem of a book and I love the thought-provoking reflection.  It gives me something to ponder as I’m going through my day.

This is a very useful and lovely little book and I recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their walk with God, especially those pressed for time!  I look forward to using it this year as I ponder my prayer time in my Mother’s Rule of Life study!
