Menu Plan Monday #41

 

Last week was interesting.  My lovely 4yo ended up getting sick (in the literal sense) Monday evening so my meal plan last week got sidetracked a bit as she’s been terrified to eat anything lest she throw up again.   Toast and chicken soup for a week!   Finally ate some pizza on Saturday and freaked out Saturday night.  Poor little thing was so traumatized she STILL insists she feels like she’s going to throw up.   I REALLY wish my kids had not inherited my anxiety issues.

Anyway, to make a long story short, you will see some repeats of my menu from last week.   Oh, and I did make the corned beef from scratch.  Oh. My. Heavens.   Sooooooooo good.   I don’t think I’ll ever buy corned beef again.   And the hash I made for dinner?  YUM!!!

Monday, 3/26
B – leftover waffles, bacon
L – leftovers
D – corned beef hash, eggs

Tuesday, 3/27
B – crackers w/PB
L – potato-bacon torte (coming soon if yummy)
D – black beans & rice w/sausage

Wednesday, 3/28
B – smoothies (freezer)
L – LO torte
D – pea soup for Al; Homemade Mashed Potato Chicken Bowls (like KFC) for girls and I

Thursday, 3/29
B – crackers w/PB
L – grilled PB & J
D – ham dinner, potatoes (freezer from Christmas), corn casserole, veggies, garlic cheddar biscuits (coming tomorrow)

Friday, 3/30
B – smoothie
L – tuna sandwiches, tortilla chips, fruit
D – fish sticks, tater tots, 2 veg

Saturday, 3/31
B – Oatmeal Pancakes
L – LO ham dinner
D – Spicy Spaghetti, garlic toast

Sunday, 4/1
B – eggs, american fries, bacon
L – LO spaghetti
D – fried rice & turkey egg rolls

Menu Plan Monday #40

This week is kind of a busy week. Hubby has a board meeting and a date with our oldest and this weekend we are having lots of guests. My step-sister is coming over on Friday night and my SIL is bringing my Goddaughter up for her birthday. I can’t wait to see her!

Monday, 3.19
B- leftover pancakes
L- bean & rice burritos
D- Mac n Cheese, hot dogs

Tuesday, 3.20
B- Graham crackers w/pb
L- cheese quasadillas or grilled cheese & tomato soup
D- Black beans & rice w/sausage, asparagus

Wednesday, 3.21
B- Bradley Diet Smoothie {coming soon!}
L- leftover beans & sausage
D- chicken noodle soup, better than red lobster biscuits {coming soon}

Thursday, 3.22
B- oatmeal
L- tuna noodle salad
D- hamburgers, noodle salad, asparagus, corn

Friday, 3.22
B- Banana Oatmeal Smoothie {will share if it’s good}
L- leftover tuna noodle salad
D- cod, risotto, veggies (2)

Saturday, 3.24
B- Oatmeal Pancakes {coming soon}, bacon
L- leftover chicken soup
D- lasagna (if my SIL doesn’t make it)

Sunday, 3.25
B- pumpkin chocolate chip waffles, bacon,
L- leftovers
D- corned beef dinnerself-brined brisket, potatoes, onions, carrots & cabbage Alton Brown Style. Yum!

Tuesday, September 20
B- leftover pumpkin waffles & sausage
L- PACK: pb & j, string cheese, crackers, apples
D- ham, mashed potatoes, squash, butter rolls, green beans

Wednesday, September 21
B- yogurt & sausage
L- beef n butternut squash stew
D- Italian sausage loaf (emealz)

Thursday, September 22
B – pumpkin waffles & egg
L- pepperoni pizza pita ($5 dinner mom lunch cookbook p. 184)
D- spaghetti pomodoro, salad (emealz)

Friday, September 23
B- yogurt & sausage
L- tuna fish sandwiches, pretzels, apple slices
D- fish, rice, steamed California blend veggies

Saturday, September 24
B- eggs, toast, American fries
L- chicken quesadillas,
D- pizza night (or leftovers)

Sunday, September 25
B- buttermilk pancakes, sausage
L- PACK: ham sandwiches, chips, apples
D- scalloped potatoes, leftover ham

I realized that I didn’t get to this Monday (oops). Better Nate than Lever :) .

Menu Plan Monday #38

So I never did post a meal plan last week and my week showed it. I ran to the grocery store 3 times. No joke! But I’m back on the wagon. Here’s what we are having this week. Next week, I’m using e-mealz. I’ll let you know how it goes!

Monday. September 12
B – MIC brunch
L – OUT – straight to grocery store after MIC
D – corned beef, sweet potatoes, steamed veg

Tuesday, September 13
B- egg & cheese biscuits
L- PACK – pb & j, string cheese & crackers
D- pan-fried pork chops, mashed potatoes, carrots

Wednesday, September 14
B- oatmeal
L- Mac n cheese
D- Girls Night — simple or out!

Thursday, September 15
B- egg & cheese biscuits
L- appetizers–cheese, crackers, meat sticks chunks, apple slices, olives, pickles,
D- pasta primavera

Friday, September 16
B- cereal
L- tuna sandwiches
D- fish, rice pilaf, steamed veg

Saturday, September 17
B- cereal
L- tacos with Spanish rice
D- homemade mashed potato & chicken bowls

Sunday, September 18
B- pumpkin pancakes, maple sausage
L- baked chicken salad with dried cherries
D- leftovers

Plus I need to pick up items for the man camp meal for Al. He will be camping with the guys this weekend. I’ll share it tomorrow :) .

So I’m trying not to waste so much food…does anyone have any ideas for extra cooked noodles?

D – Pot Roast, potatoes, carrots
