Songbird Under a German Moon is another stellar novel by Tricia Goyer!   World War II has been over for 6 months and Betty Lake scores a spot in the USO in Germany keeping the troops entertained while occupying Europe.    A small-town girl, she is enthralled by the applause of the troops, the mansion she is staying in and the attention of a US Army Air Corps photographer named Frank.   Shortly after her arrival, her roommate goes missing and she is SURE that foul play was involved.   She and Frank team up to find answers under a German moon.

Tricia has written another hit with Songbird Under a German Moon.   Much like The Swiss Courier (which I also reviewed here), this novel takes place around the time of WWII in Germany.   One of the things that I loved about this book was that she did a great job of drawing you into the time period of the book.   The event of the book took place over just a few weeks but just enough happened to pull you through the book without rushing through it.   I think I ignored everything for a day or two to read it.  In fact, at the end, I was distracting Lil’ Bit from the fact that it was bedtime so I could finish.  It was worth it!   You can also find out what others thought about Songbird Under a German Moon.
