I’m so excited to share two great board books with you just in time for Mother’s Day & Father’s Day. The first, the one I’m sharing today is Mommy Loves You So Much!
Mommy Loves You So Much! is a cute padded board book illustrated by Jo Parry. Each 2 page spread has a short 4-line rhyme and a beautifully illustrated picture of an animal mama taking care of her little ones. The verses all ask a question and answer in rhyming verse.
How does mommy care for you?
With soapy suds, my sweet!
I love to wash you giggly face
And clean your wiggly feet.
The funniest part about this one is that hubs always changes this verse to say daddy because HE generally does baths for the kids. The Little Man really enjoys reading this book with me. I really enjoy reading it to all of them because I am not a very demonstrative person. This book makes it easy for me to show & tell the kids I love them. Is it a lazy way? Maybe, but it works, so I’ll take it :D.
