Because I am a book junkie, I have a ton of books and curriculum around. I collect it. And when planning for my kids school year, it frequently ends up as a “wish list.” By January, our homeschool never looks like the plan I make in August.
And that’s totally cool. There is nothing wrong with trying something new if what you have isn’t working.
Still not sure? Take a peek at all our changes through the years.

Even with all the changes, my kids still learned a ton. We didn’t lose any ground that was not easily made up and everyone benefitted from materials and situations that took everyone’s needs into account.
How about you? Do you make changes as necessary or do you try to stick it out?
