Did you know that it’s not too late to pack a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child?
We packed 5 shoeboxes this year and were tickled to find a distribution point next to our house. They were in awe of the number of boxes lined up against the walls (and the cookies, stickers & ornaments didn’t hurt either ;D).
There is still time to pack a shoebox before Christmas. Did you know that you can build a shoebox online? And now it’s even open year-round! It costs about the same to fill a box online as I can do it for and I’m betting the quality might even be higher since I’m betting they get items at cost or at a discount.
Just like packing your own box, you can pick the age & gender you are building a box for. You can even select items to put inside of it from a small selection of items that does change some by age & gender. If you have mostly little kids, this might be easier logistically.
Go pack your box this week and show a child God’s love!
