Recently, a fellow blogger asked for help sharing about a child’s art show to benefit Cross Catholic Outreach. My daughter is a consummate artist. A few months ago she was giving away artwork to anyone who donated money to the K of C Tootsie Roll drive with her father :).
Through the Art of Giving, Cross Catholic Outreach, the proceeds of the auction will be used to feed impoverished children and families in El Progreso, Honduras at the Prince of Peace Nutrition Center.
The art show is open to all, from tots to teens. To get involved,
1. Have you children draw, paint, color and use their imaginations to create artistic masterpieces!
2. Submit a photo of your child’s artwork, name and age to mpotter@crosscatholic.org. As photos are received, they will be posted on this site, below.
3. Encourage your friends and family to visit http://www.crosscatholic.org/theartofgiving to make a donation on behalf of the submission by typing the child’s name in the comment field upon making a donation.
The art show will remain open until 12.31.13. If you have family, who like to provide donations in lieu of gifts, this would be a good option!
