Funny thing, this break. Just prior to it, Lil’ Bit was whining about not wanting to do school. By Tuesday she was begging to do it :). LOL!
Monday
I had one major project I wanted to get done this week. We finally got the doors on our garage, and I wanted to move everything out of the storage closet in the house. I took all this stuff they can go out the garage and move into the hallway and then took all their totes of clothing and put it into the storage closet box labeled. It took about 4 hours & was a MIRACLE. I have a 5 & 3 year old, plus a 4 month old. Like I said, miracle.
Tuesday
Since all the boxes of clothes were gone, I decided to clean out the rest of the master bedroom. I didn’t get far on that, but it is much better. We also swapped out some toys & I listed several things on our areas FB resell group.
Wednesday
I worked for a few hours and Then we went shopping for stuff for itty-bitty’s birthday– strawberry shortcake fixin’s (in lieu of cake & ice cream–her request), Mylar balloons (best bought at Dollar Tree!), and such.
Thursday
Hubby took the day off & we bought passes for everyone to go to the Great Wolf Lodge’s water park (you need to get a room or sometimes they sell local passes as a charity fundraiser, which is what we did). They were up ridiculously early (5:30!) and she opened her presents and hung out until the water park opened. We were there for about 4 hours and they had a blast! For dinner, she had steak, corn & strawberry shortcake.
Friday
Today, we did a bunch of science experiments & then errands. Then I realized the poor thing was coming down with something. Happy Birthday! Sigh. Not sure what it is yet, but she’s running a fever and its high enough that I suspect we will cancel the shortcake gathering tomorrow :(. Prayers for quick healing & no contagion would be appreciated, if you are so inclined.
