I love lemonade and I absolutely abhor the fake stuff. All year long, you can find me at restaurants asking whether or not they make it or it comes from a fountain machine. At home, I make this easy, perfectly tart AND sweet lemonade at home:
- 1 c. water
- 4 Tblsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tblsp. sugar (or sweetener of choice)
- ice, as desired
I think the original recipe had 2 Tblsp of each lemon juice and sugar and it was too sweet for our tastes. This makes it sweet, yet nice and tart.
