I tell you I am so excited that my oldest is getting to the point where she is able to be REALLY helpful. She is cleaning her own messes and I can even get her to volunteer to mop the bathrooms once or twice a month (which is more than I get to it!). I couldn’t have been more excited when I found that this month’s featured product from Eternal Encouragement Magazine is a short e-book titled Helping Hands at Home.
While this ebook is very short (only about 20 pages of regular 8-1/2 x 11), it is packed with step by step why and how to teach your children to clean the bathroom and the kitchen on a daily basis. Boy, would I LOVE that. I don’t even clean on a daily basis but if I could get my 5 year old to do it? Um, yes please!
She even includes a few homemade cleaner recipes and a few printables (not sure how that quite works on a Kindle though). My favorite part of Helping Hands at Home., though, is her tips for HOW to clean the bathroom and kitchen, because frankly, I was never really taught a good method for doing either of them. Maybe that’s why I put it off so much :). I love that she even gives tips for reluctance/motivation of how and why. I was never taught those either.
So, if you are WANTING your kiddos to help or YOU need help because you were never taught a quick & efficient way to clean your bathroom and kitchen, Helping Hands at Home is a great short shot in the arm. Very practical and friendly and a great deal at only $0.99 at Amazon!
