Does your parish offer a free Parish calendar with religious art like this calendar from J. S. Paluch`? If so, pick up a copy of this year’s calendar to use for next year’s religious art study. If you have friends or relatives who get similar calendars, ask them for theirs, too. I’ve also gotten calendars with beautiful art from various charities.
If you don’t need the calendar for this year, cut apart the calendar, laminate or put in page protectors and talk about the pictures. If you will use it this year, cut it apart for next year.
If you have preschoolers, you can cut them apart and make puzzles out of them. If you have a friend or relative who will give you yours, you can play memory. You could also try to draw a duplicate if you have older children.
How do you reuse the free religious art calendars your church offers?
