One of the biggest ways for me to preserve my sanity is to have a menu plan. My littlest one naps from 3-5. Preferably on my lap! If I don’t know what dinner is and have it ready by 5pm, my older one drives me nuts.
It’s also a great way to save money! If I just randomly buy stuff from the store, I run back 2-3 times for ‘one thing’. And I never buy just the one thing; I’m not that disciplined.
Having a menu plan helps me have use up leftovers. I can plan a makeover or use up the last of an odd ingredient. I find that I get to the bottom of my freezer more by thinking about what I have and then filling in the blanks.
Do you meal plan?
