One of the biggest ways for me to preserve my sanity is to have a menu plan.   My littlest one naps from 3-5.  Preferably on my lap!  If I don’t know what dinner is and have it ready by 5pm, my older one drives me nuts.

It’s also a great way to save money!  If I just randomly buy stuff from the store, I run back 2-3 times for ‘one thing’. And I never buy just the one thing; I’m not that disciplined.

Having a menu plan helps me have use up leftovers. I can plan a makeover or use up the last of an odd ingredient. I find that I get to the bottom of my freezer more by thinking about what I have and then filling in the blanks.

Do you meal plan?

I really need to get my menu plan nailed down. I do pretty good for a while, then I slack off … I need to do this! Thank you!

I blog at ‘Only a Breath’, and I’d love for you to stop by if you have time! I’m writing about “31 Days to Love Your Neighbor” (and trying to figure it out myself) 🙂

    Have a great day!
