Whooo boy was this a week for deals!
My first stop was a K-mart on Sunday for $2.00 super doubles. Traverse City NEVER does super doubles. I was soooo excited.
I bought:
- 1 Dove Body Wash – $4.79 – $2/1 = $0.79
- 1 Kotex Pantyliner – $1.29 – $0.75/1 doubled to price = FREE!
- 2 Aveeno Baby Wash – $4.79 – $2/1 IP = $0.79 each
- 2 Secret Flawless Deodorants – $4.49 – $2/1 = $0.49 each
- 2 Hershey Cacao truffles – $2.69 – $1/1 = $0.69 each
- 1 Energizer Battery (CR2032) for scale in bathroom – $7.19 – $1/1 = $5.19
- 4 Soleil Razors – 4pk – $5.29 – $2/1 = $1.29 each
- 2 Huggies Jumbo packs – $9.99 – $1.50/1 = $6.99 each – $0.75 Caregivers Marketplace Rebate.
- 1 Dove Deodorant – $2.50 – $1/1 – $0.50
- 2 Vaseline Lotions – $2.50 – $1/1 = $0.50 each
- 1 Vaseline Lotions – $2.50 – $0.75/1 = $1.00 each
- 6 Suave Shampoos – $1.25 – $1/2 (only doubled to $1.25 –the price of one) – $0.63 each
- 1 Suave Deodorant – $1.67 – $1.50/1 (didn’t double, not sure why) – $0.17 each

Not my best but the batteries were an expensive (but necessary) addition. AND I got enough of a good deal on Unilever stuff to meet the $40 minimum for $20 back on my turkey for Easter. Yippee!!!
I went back on Monday because I hit my 25 coupon limit halfway through my pile on Sunday. I had to go out to Acme for my Monday Mommy Group and left early to stop there and hit the last half of my list. It’s been a long time since I’ve been there and I was surprised at how much nicer an experience I had there. It was clean, well-lit and it helped that my checkout lady was a couponer herself 🙂
I bought:
- 2 Rubbermaid LidFinder containers – on clearance for $2.00 each – $1/1 MFQ = FREE!!! And they are the size I ALWAYS need more of even though I bought the giant set.
- All 2x Free – $4.79 on sale – $1/1 MFQ = $2.79
- All Small & Mighty – $4.79 on sale – $0.40/1 MFQ = $3.99
- 4 jumbo packs of Huggies Supreme/Gentle Care diapers = $9.99 – $1.50/1 MFQ = $6.99 – Caregivers Marketplace rebate = $6.24
- 4 packs of Huggies wipes (various) – $2.50 – $0.75/1 MGQ = $1.00 each!
- 4 Marcel toilet paper 4 packs – $2.89 – $1/1 MFQ = Free!!! Apparently the coupon came up with the whole package being free instead of $1.00 off and the lady couldn’t change it if she wanted to 🙂
- 1 Jet Dry rinse Agent – $4.99 – $0.40/1 MFQ = $4.19
- 2 Ziplock Quart Freezer bags – $2.50 – $1/2 MFQ = $1.50 each
I also bought 4 packs of Kotex Lightdays and I had 2 $1.50/2 coupons which don’t appear to be on there and a Ziplock baggie coupon for $0.55/1 that isn’t on there either. Huh. Arggg. Airhead alert. I never GAVE her the lightdays coupons. I guess I’m going to return them and see if the other k-mart still has some, but I doubt it. I think I bought the last ones Sunday.
