I didn’t bother to post last week, but I got in on the Huggies diaper deal at Walgreens and also picked up some freebies (colgate & some shampoo, I think) for our church’s food pantry.
This week, I had high hopes. I need to quit doing that! I want to know where Deal Seeking Mom and Centsible Sawyer live to have the prices they have on stuff at Walmart. Up here (and Florida, too), the deals were typically twice what those sites said could be gotten. Made some of the freebies not so free. So I only did so-so.

40 ct Gallon Ziplock storage bags – $3.00 – $0.75/1 Q = $2.25
30 ct Gallon Ziplock Freezer Bag – $3.00 – $0.75/1Q = $2.25
2 – 50 ct Quart Ziplock storage bags – $3.00 each – $1.50/2Q = $2.25 each
2 – 16 ct Kotex Pantyliners – $1.00 – $0.75/1Q = $0.25 each
3 – mentos gum – $1.28 – $1/1Q = $0.28 each (I had a 4th and bought it but she only scanned 3 of the coupons so I have to take one back.)

Savings – 50%!!
I also went to Walgreens to try to get in on the Dove Deal, but someone beat me to it. Plus, here the bars are $1.39 not $1.04 which doesn’t make them as good of a deal anyway. What I DID get was:

Since I’ve pretty well stocked the pantry in 2 huge Meijer’s trips (and blown the budget out of the water!), I just picked up some deals this week. I bought (at Meijer)
