This one I’ve been saving since before Christmas.   I was at my dad’s house watching TV on Christmas Eve and a commercial for the ASPCA or some such group came on.    They were lamenting how terrible all these dogs and cats had it, showing pitiful pictures, the works.    And playing Silent Night.    Silent Night!   The most beautiful, reverent Christmas hymn is being played in a commercial about saving a freakin’ CAT!   Half of the people (if not more) who are so into saving the dogs and cats, see nothing wrong with abortion!    Grrrr…..

We’ve made it to Florida after a long arduous journey.    You can read all the gory details of our breakdown, etc. at our other blog — smallandcheap.wordpress.com.    We still aren’t in the Key’s though.    We should be down and settling in next week.

Lil’ Bit has been running a fever for the last day or so.   Ughh.    She’s such a happy, go-lucky girl it just kills me to see her sick.    I HAD thought she was teething, but it went way higher than it would have if it was teething.     It’s crazy because she doesn’t seem to be sick any other way.   Not tugging on her ear, not stuffy, no cough.    It’s weird.

We haven’t even gotten to settle into the camper yet and I’ve already got a list of things we’ve forgotten.  Like the Disney tickets.   Good thing someone has a key to the house.

It’s good to be eating good food again.    I was REALLY tired of eating venison and chocolate.    Yes, too much of a good thing is still, well, too much of a good thing.

There must be something wrong with how the themes are installed or something.   My 2nd choice theme is taking a dump, too.    That’s annoying and not likely to be fixed anytime soon now that we are down here.   Bones is going to be too busy killing it.

I’m looking forward to having my colors done.   I didn’t bring many clothes because frankly, my non-preggo summer clothes don’t fit yet.   I WAS going to have the image consultant at home do them (to the tune of $125.00!) for my Christmas present.   It turns out Missus Smarty Pants will be offering that starting 1/12.   I don’t know how much it will be, but I’m sure it’s less than $125.00.
