I am so excited to have been chosen by Mom Bloggers Club and Bumkins to do a product review of their Dr. Seuss Fleece Bunting as part of the Bumkins Dr. Seuss Blog Tour.

My first reaction when I opened the box was, “Ooooh. Do they make these in MY size?” It was beautifully warm and fuzzy. According to Bumkins, it’s made of “snuggly polyester sherpa.” The care tag calls it 100% polyester. Whatever you call it, it’s warm & comfy. It has the fold over feet and hands so that you can have them covered or out. It also has a hood with a light blue fabric w/white polka dot liner.

There were only two things that I found annoying about it. First, there are buttons on only one leg. It’s one of my personal peeves, but nothing that would prevent me from buying it. The other is that the leg that buttons down, either doesn’t have enough snaps or they are poorly placed. Or my daughter is built funny or something because if there aren’t enough snaps, they gap funny. She’s my first so I have nothing to compare her to, but that is something that I’ve noticed in certain brands and so I always look for it.

The day I got it, I put my (almost) 10 month old in it. Needless to say, she wasn’t amused.

It comes in 0-6mos and 6-12mos sizes and I’m not really sure how well it would have fit her this summer…it would have been REALLY big. At 10 mos, she is now in 12 mos clothes–apparently, children go into some sort of cosmic void at 9mos and clothes go from 6mos to 12mos, but I digress.

The quality was quite impressive. On their website, the list price was $36.95 and it’s on sale for $19.95. I would absolutely pick one up. This is a great item, especially for those who won’t (or haven’t) found out what they are having–it’s neutral enough for either gender. In fact, I think I’m going to pick one up for my Sister-in-Law, due this spring.

II like the bib! It looks like it would really keep his clothes clean.
I like the bunting. I don’t think my 8 mo old would mind it. He’s so easygoing.

I love the bib. We have a tradition of just bows and plain little bulbs on our tiny tree (3 ft!), but the ornament is cute too!

That is such an adorable bunting! Your little one is a cutie too. I also hate when they only put buttons down one leg…wrangling that other leg is awful! And my 8 month old son is good at worming out of my grasp when I’m trying to dress him.

And the ornaments are very cute too…I’d love some for our tree, since it’s still a little bare. I’ll have to head over Bumkins and check out their Seuss collection. Thank you!

Too cute! Doesn’t look like your little darling shares your sentiments, however. 🙂
