I had so many blessings yesterday, that I felt compelled to give thanks in a public way.
First, I put on and wore my pre-baby jeans all day yesterday!! First time since she was born!
Then, my product review package came in from Mom Bloggers Club (hence the new button in the sidebar). My review will be posted by next Tuesday. I’m so excited to have been picked!
My DD figured out how to put one block inside another.
Then she took her first two steps all by herself. And then did it 2 more times. On purpose!
Then I got a product review package from Mom Salon with a product giveaway — I’m very excited to be picked for this too. Keep your eyes tuned in for that. I will be posting it as soon as I get more details.
It was such a good day that I bought a lotto ticket. I haven’t bought one in 8-9 years. I generally don’t. I’ll post a comment either way on Sunday AM.
I had a good time with my old colleagues at IAAP at our meeting yesterday. The speaker was a party planner who has worked with Gene Simmons (of KISS fame!) among others. Great presentation, especially since I LOVE throwing parties.
And then DH called from FL where he left to visit a new client in the Keys last minute and said there is a lot of opportunity down there for a guy who does what he does and gasp..actually SHOWS UP!!! Crazy. So we might explore that possiblility this winter once or twice before we spend some time down there with his parents, just to see. We’ve always wanted 2 homes — a warm one and this one :).
