Money Mondays is moving to Thrifty Thursday. Due to obligations on Mondays, I just don’t have time to write/post. As I was informed of another income drop (short term) I had to get creative about dinner since payday isn’t until Wednesday. I made my own Hamburger Helper type dish without MSG. I need to make a few tweaks for next time but it turned out awesome!
about 4 cups cooked noodles –
1 lb ground beef or turkey
2 cans of Campbell’s Fiesta Nacho Cheese condensed soup
1 pkt of taco seasoning
3/4 – 1 bg of frozen corn
Brown meat & prepare per directions on taco seasoning packet. Boil noodles per directions on box. Drain.
Empty cheese sauce into pot noodles were boiled in. Add noodles slowly as different shapes take different amounts depending on surface area; make sure they are well coated. Add corn & taco meat. Cook on medium for a few minutes to make sure corn is warmed through.
Serves about 6-8. Serve with cornbread.
