i just got off the phone with sprint a little while ago.   i switched to at&t last week & they charged me an early termination fee!   What?!?   i’ve been out of contract for years as far as i knew.

so i explained my case to the front line csr, as nicely as i could w/o getting walked all over.  of course she was unable to do so and i pleaded my case to her supervisor.   after about 1/2 hr of talking to the two of them, he looked at my history and because i never had any adjustments, had an excellent payment history & don’t abuse the csrs, he ended up giving me the credit.
