This weekend is the 40th annual Buckley Old Engine Show. It started Thursday, August 14th & runs until Sunday, August 17th. It’s located one mile west of Buckley off M-37 on County Road 633; there are signs everywhere. Per the information on the TCCVB website, the show features:

Large steam engines, old tractors, antique cars and trucks, sawmill, veneer mill, tractor races and pulls, bowl mill, wheat ground into flour by gas engine and many places to eat. Old Time music, arts & crafts show, woodworking & woodcrafts. Large Flea Market. Cider Mill demonstration daily. Show opens each day at 7:00 a.m. and closes at midnight. Adults $5.00 donation, children 15 and under free only if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

I wrote this on the show a few years ago. If you are looking for something for your family to do this weekend, check it out. It’s also a great tie-in to many subjects if you’re homeschooling.
